The joy is to create. I couldn’t agree more with his sentiment.
A music creative approached me with an idea to commemorate a big milestone in his carreer. We echanged many emails and I drafted a couple of dials with an assortment of symbols he provided which had personal meaning. At the eleventh hour the brief was changed and the dial was stripped bare. The date was relocated to the 6 position and the only text directly below it, a simple reminder of his purpose, his resolve and determination. The rest… a blank page lays before him, a reminder that all art starts with a blank page.
I respect that.
